A startup exorcism company founded by Lance Halonegard, who now employs two under him. Based in Ul'dah, it is a strange little hole in the wall business similar to a private detective company.

A seemingly mundane business, often dealing in essence crystals used to fuel and provide various energy for many things. A much smaller venture in nature, often consisting of small deliveries of various items, often doubling as a courier service.

The Lovely Cafe is currently under construction as the FC house is renovated, and will most likely be repurposed into some sort of Japanese dive bar vibe, similar to ones found in the Yakuza series but under a different name. We'll still serve coffee, don't worry.

BACKGROUND
Coming from a small village on the outskirts of Ishgard, Lance trained from a young age with the dream of becoming a warrior capable of fighting in the Dragonsong War. However, as he reached maturity, the thousand year war had ended, leaving him behind without a purpose. So naturally, he moved to Ul'dah and became a Magitek racer, quickly getting picked up by a Garlean team and placing third in the Ceruleum-1 Racing League on his first ever run. His swift instincts and dumb luck led him to blaze his way through the rankings, and though he never came first in a major race, he always placed high enough to cut a check.After a successful career as a racer and suffering a major accident, he decided to retire from the fast life with his immense winnings and seek a more humble way of life, eventually settling into a comfy job at a coffee shop in the lavender beds, simply named "Lovely". Run by a man named Kentaro, he was hired on a part-time basis, but quickly discovered he loved the complexity and expressiveness behind making a simple cup of coffee. He spent many months perfecting the art of the brew, taking pride in his work, but one day he would receive a mysterious letter in the mail.It was an invitation to the highly secretive Spirit Detection Training Academy. It was crudely written and looked like some sort of scam, but he had nothing better to do, so he accepted. As it turns out, it was a legitimate academy that trains individuals to pick up on the ebb and flow of ambient aether. He quickly discovered he had a knack for handling the supernatural, and in a few years time he passed the academy with flying colors. His new certification allowed him to legally register with the city of Ul'dah for a spirit detective's license. Since then, Lance has started a small business called "Haunt Hunters" financed by his close friend Yuki Yuzuki.He now spends his days solving mysteries one case at a time, along with the occasional odd job. Having situated his headquarters in Ul’dah, he’s mostly seen around the lane and other bars around town. The tomestone number for his service is posted all around the lane on cool looking flyers, so adding him to your party is as easy as ever.Even more recently, he's gone into business with a scary looking xaela who has an eye for rare things. They went on to form LANCE & CO, a trading company that primarily deals in crystals; however he is looking to branch out from their narrow stock into more lucrative ventures. As business steadily grew, he was able to hire an intern to help with day to day operations, and going on coffee runs. Saita, a young and naive looking xaela, usually trails behind him taking notes and handling the paperwork that he doesn't feel like doing. Lance & Co usually has their best deals around the end of the month when rent is coming up, and due to their nature of acquisition, they may have a wide range of cool and unique items in stock.
